Establishing a Paragon^® Forum

Vitalize Consulting Solutions, (VCS) is pleased to announce the establishment of a Paragon^® Forum for our McKesson Practice customers. This forum will serve as a platform to share experiences and elicit feedback with the goal of improving Paragon/McKesson implementations and to provide McKesson with suggestions for their products. Some of the participating facilities have already installed Paragon and others are currently in process with their implementation. The forum is currently comprised of six representatives from six community hospitals who are committed to improving application workflow and the implementation process.

The first virtual summit was held on Thursday, February 26th, 2009. The focus was on introductions and defining the vision of the group. The intent of these meetings is to hold brainstorming sessions designed to provide feedback to each other and McKesson. The group will discuss common workflow issues and suggest solutions, while also identifying potential enhancements to improve end user satisfaction.

Eric New, VCS Senior Consultant, will serve as the forum’s facilitator. To date, representatives from Wilson N. Jones Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, Memorial Hospital of York, Good Samaritan Hospital, Clarke Regional Medical Center and Somerset Memorial Hospital have expressed their interest to participate in the forum.
