In the whirlwind following July’s MU finalization and the accreditation of the first 3 MU-certifying bodies (Drummond Group Inc., InfoGard Laboratories Inc., and CCHIT), October 1 arrives with little public fanfare. Nevertheless, the initial Stage 1 reimbursements can perhaps be considered the first tangible (you can see & touch money, right?) upshot of the 2009 ARRA HITECH Act.
