Yesterday at its CHIME10 Awards Breakfast, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives feted the “grandfather of healthcare informatics,” our own Bill Childs, eminent pioneer in the field and VCS vice president.

Recognition by the esteemed CHIME testifies to Bill’s influence throughout the industry and to the affect on those he meets personally. We are fortunate to have Bill (joined by Sally his wife of 50 years at the ceremony) as part of the VCS family for his pre-eminence in the HIT profession and for his impeccable quality of character.
