VCS is looking for Healthcare Technology Consultants (preferably clinicians)
who have experience with Cerner Clinical Applications. Consultants will
provide subject matter expertise in the following roles:
• Clinical Application Analyst
• Application Analyst
• Implementation Consultant
• Project analysis
• Customer relations
• System Optimization
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have
- Design, build, and implementation experience in Cerner Clinical
applications in CPOE. Specifically, CareNet, or Clinical Documentation,
or PharmNet (required)
- Healthcare experience (required)
- Clinical experience (RN is an added plus)
Relocation is NOT necessary, however, weekly travel (Monday – Thursday)
is required.

CLINICAL HEALTHCARE IT PROJECT MANAGER- NATIONWIDE
DESCRIPTION
Prospective candidates will:
- Prepare and conduct formal presentations for large groups for key decision makers at the executive level
- Demonstrate superior interpersonal and communication skills. Conduct customer conferences and assist consultants with
their communications.
- Communicate project status on a regular basis to management and maintain a repository of project documentation.
- Provide feedback to management on team members’ performance
- Provide coaching to team members to achieve a higher level of performance.
- Represent VCS in management meetings.
- Devise creative business or technical solutions
- Champion the project goals develop and coach others to succeed
- Understand and manage critical success factors
- Lead multiple teams it
- Identify potential add-on business through formal project change control, strong delivery skills and good client
relations
- Articulate cost benefit for performing change-in-scope tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum six years total of healthcare experience operating in a leadership role either at a hospital, vendor or consulting
company
- Minimum of two years healthcare IT consulting experience providing project management services in Clinical Applications
- PMI Certification and Master's Degree in Healthcare related field of study (preferred )

Implementation consultants will have the following roles:

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified implementation candidates will have experience with and be certified in either EpicCare Inpatient
(clin doc, ED, etc) or Resolute Professional Billing, with the following skills/experience:
EpicCare Inpatient
- Experience with one or more full life cycle implementation of EpicCare InPatient
- Experience with DVB sessions
- Certification in EpicCare In-Patient, or Clinical Documentation or ED
- RN or clinical background a plus
- Other current certifications a plus
Resolute Professional Billing
- Experience with one or more full life cycle implementation of Resolute Professional Billing
- Experience with DVB sessions
- Certification in Resolute Professional Billing
- Strong technical knowledge of billing systems
- Three or more years of revenue cycle experience

configuring and deploying wireless LAN technology as well as expertise in performing network
assessments and surveys.
