Healthcare Business Analyst

Vitalize Consulting Solutions, Inc. (VCS) provides information technology consulting services to healthcare organizations. We offer a comprehensive range of services from system optimization, implementation and integration to project management.
We are working with one of our clients to assist them in finding several technical professionals to join their growing team.
In particular, we are looking for a Business Analyst with previous healthcare experience. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for direct hire after 4 months. The right individual would be interested in re-location Pennsylvania. The client location is in a scenic small town with great schools, public and private golf courses, boating, fishing, camping and parks nearby. Country living at its finest!
Along with skills listed below, the preferred candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of the payor and provider sides of the healthcare industry including its practices, terminology and its regulatory environment.
Resource would be required to meet the following requirements:
- Directs and completes the analysis of very complex Service issues and process that focus on healthcare and healthcare maintenance needs
- Documents operating models, innovative approaches to business solutions
- Develops an in-depth understanding of client business strategy, operations, and requirements
- Facilitates process sessions to map existing customer service operational processes in order to define current business activities for the development of future state processes
- Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and process goals
- Influences cross-functional and/or cross divisional task forces to identify and document process requirements, functional requirements, process flow, workflow, information sources and system specifications
- Assist the Project Management team in development of Business Cases and Budgets with cost/benefit dimensions of proposed IT projects that will be used by management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions
- Directs/conducts the analysis of current business processes and functional requirements
- Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information
- Performs cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions
- Facilitates the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective process initiatives that support client business processes and functional requirements

- Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
- Provides on-going analytics with respect to process improvement, process alternatives, client value realization
Requested Experience:
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and process modeling
- Proven experience in the meeting facilitation for creating, updating of processes
- Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into process analysis as required
- Working technical knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint
- Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives
- Process implementation and organizational adoption experience
