Our project management portfolio not only includes PMP-certified healthcare professionals but also a robust web-based implementation methodology tools, JumpStart Program for project management office set up and our WebShare repository of information. Included in our portfolio of solutions is an Ambulatory and Practice Management arena.

The senior executives at VCS each bring an average of over 26 years of practical healthcare and IT experience adding to the total delivery package. The key to our growth is our integrity, knowledge, and belief that if VCS provides a positive environment in which our almost 700 employees can contribute and grow, that the quality of work delivered to our customers will exceed their expectations.
Dan joined VCS in 2011 as an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in IT. Most recently, Dan was the CEO of PHNS, a privately held healthcare IT provider, an organization that he successfully sold to a strategic buyer in early 2011. Dan spent the majority of his career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and has held both domestic and international executive leadership positions. As an EDS executive, Dan was responsible for negotiating and extending major IT contracts with five of the company's top 10 clients, generating more than $5 billion in contract value. Before the company was acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2008, Dan managed $7 billion of the company's business and more than 29,000 employees. Dan has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina-Ashville, and he has completed several executive development programs at the University of Michigan, Thunderbird University, and the London Business School.
Mary Pat Fralick has over 20 years experience in the healthcare information technology (“IT”) consulting services industry. From 1985 through 1989, Mary Pat performed in an installation capacity for dozens of hospitals throughout the country installing Siemens clinical and patient management applications. In 1989, Mary Pat became the second employee and an equity partner in DARCA, a healthcare consulting services firm that became well-known for exceptional service through its commitment to quality and employee satisfaction. In September 1997, DARCA acquired Exemplar Systems, a healthcare IT consulting company, creating Elumen Solutions. In 1999, CTG purchased Elumen and Mary Pat was retained as a Managing Director of CTG Healthcare Solutions. After a brief hiatus, Mary Pat and Danny determined that there were new challenges in Healthcare that together they could help resolve. Mary Pat earned a B.A. from Rutgers University in 1985 and an MBA from St. Joseph's University in 1991.
Karla Mount brings over 20 years of business experience to VCS, including extensive experience in the technology, staffing and healthcare services sectors. Previously, Karla served as founder and CFO of Lucida Staffing Group and, before that, TravCorps, where she played an instrumental role in growing both companies. In addition to her finance responsibilities, Karla oversaw all of the key “shared service” functions including housing, insurance/risk management, information technology and human resources. Prior to joining TravCorps, Karla was VP of Finance with TheraTx, a publicly-traded healthcare services company, where her responsibilities included M&A activities and investor relations, as well as all finance and accounting functions. Karla also has held senior financial positions with a publicly-traded software company and an Internet startup. Karla began her career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. She received her Bachelors of Business in Administration, Summa Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University.
Danny Arnold has over 25 years experience in the healthcare IT consulting services industry. From 1980 through 1986, Danny worked as a project manager for a large healthcare organization in Albany, NY implementing advanced clinical technology to accomplish the organization's IT objectives. In 1986 through 1994, Danny worked for CTG and successfully developed a practice in the healthcare market segment for the corporation. In 1994, Danny joined DARCA as the Executive Vice President of Business Development and was a major contributor in the DARCA/Elumen Solutions success story. Most recently, Danny was instrumental in the successful implementation of multiple Siemens applications at a large IDN in Albany, NY. Danny earned a B.S. from SUNY, Albany in 1982.
Robin joined VCS in 2006 having worked over 24 years with Shared Medical Systems/Siemens. As National Practice Director at Siemens, she managed a $60 million practice and over 150 consultants. As Siemens’ Consultant Alliance Director, she was responsible for relationships with five large international consulting firms to expand business opportunities and drive sales. Robin earned a BA in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
Wendy Kadner has over 17 years of experience in healthcare specializing in Recruiting and Human Resources. She joined DARCA in 1995 and was responsible for the HR functions and the recruiting efforts for Elumen Solutions and CTG post acquisition. After leaving CTG, Wendy worked at CSC as Recruiting Manager in their Global Health Services Division. Wendy was the first person Arnold and Fralick called in 2002 and helped establish the Company’s infrastructure. Wendy has an executive search background and earned a BA in Human Resource Management from Simpson College and a Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Kansas.
Cyndi joined VCS in 2005 having worked for Shared Medical Systems/Siemens off and on for over 18 years. Most recently she was Senior Director of Marketing Events and was responsible for the planning of all C-level events as well as running the Siemens Medical Executive Briefing Center. Cyndi also served as Regional Support Manager and managed over 100 Siemens Support Managers, Consultants, and Project Managers. She was the CIO of Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA from 1990 – 1992 and prior to that the Corporate Applications Manager at Graduate Health Systems as well as the Data Processing Manager at St. Joseph's Hospital also in Philadelphia. Cyndi earned a BS in Business/Merchandising from Immaculata University.
John Dal Poggetto has over 15 years of healthcare technology services experience. He has served in a variety of sales and business development roles for firms including Montgomery Ryland/National Healthtech Corporation, a healthcare technology outsourcing, development, and strategy firm acquired by Affiliated Computer Services in 1994; Resources in Healthcare a healthcare technology staffing/consulting firm; and DAOU Systems, a national provider of infrastructure services to hospitals and health systems. Additional experience includes co-founding a general technology services firm and five years as vice president of operations for a middle-market investment bank. John joined Vitalize through its acquisition of r3 Health Partners for which John was serving as Managing Principal leading strategy and operations. John has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University and Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law.
Tim McMullen has been involved with sales and healthcare throughout his entire career, with more than 14 years solely dedicated to the healthcare IT industry. Tim previously served as a Vice President at maxIT Healthcare where he helped create the operational and business development infrastructure needed to accommodate and sustain growth. From 2000 until 2006, he led the sales and marketing team at First Consulting Group (FCG) as a National Vice President and Partner. Before that, Tim served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MedPlus Incorporated. He has also led and contributed to sales teams at Hill-Rom Company and Critikon Inc. (Johnson & Johnson). He received his four-year degree from Troy University in Alabama, as well as a graduating from the Executive Management Program at the University of Michigan.
Kim joined Vitalize in January 2011 through the acquisition of Validus Consulting. She brings over 25 years of healthcare IT experience to our team. Prior to Vitalize, Kim served as a Principal of Validus Consulting, leading enterprise-wide revenue cycle and project management implementations and assessments. She also served as a Vice President of Allina Hospitals & Clinics from 1984 - 2007. In 2007, one of her projects was given the Davies Award; an award given by HIMSS to organizations for excellence in clinical information systems. Kim earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Concordia College and an MBA from University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
